Every time I have broken a belt the pistons kiss the valves.

Same here... :badluck

Any engine that has valves and pistons sharing the same space (interference engine) usually ends with bent valves and/or holes/cracks in pistons..... :realcrazy :killme

How many miles on it? Is it still under guarantee? :noidea :yoda2 :Wolvie

Glad the Queen is ok :plike

Yeah she was good enough to be able to pull over on a very busy I95 where it could be picked up.
The tow truck had no problem getting in front of it.
Phew
She did good with no brakes and power steering. :plike

Beats buying another car.
It didn't have to happen but you know what? If I have to eat something like that opposed to a cancer diagnosis.....I am not that unfortunate.
It's all about half empty or half full perception.
Life's grand.
Now I won't have to worry about that timing belt for a good while :laughing

I saw something yesterday that is a new to me twist on the old question is the glass half empty or half full and that is the glass is refillable.
