Any engine that has valves and pistons sharing the same space (interference engine) usually ends with bent valves and/or holes/cracks in pistons..... How many miles on it? Is it still under guarantee? Glad the Queen is ok

Nope. Waiting on the call. He was busy yesterday so I am guessing today I'll get the "I have a bad and a bad news" call

Yeah she was good enough to be able to pull over on a very busy I95 where it could be picked up. The tow truck had no problem getting in front of it. Phew She did good with no brakes and power steering.

Beats buying another car. It didn't have to happen but you know what? If I have to eat something like that opposed to a cancer diagnosis.....I am not that unfortunate. It's all about half empty or half full perception. Life's grand. Now I won't have to worry about that timing belt for a good while
