Not vaporware they sold off the machines and tooling. I was involved in the project to repair the prototype and put a turbine power plant in it.
FAA wouldn't certify it for issues in the flight control system and fuel system.

The changes were the following. . .

Fuel bladder in floor (crash worthy)
Flight controls to a standard design (no borden cables)
Seats hung from roof (crash worthy)
Gas turbine power (saved 600+ lbs of extra weight & more cabin volume)

Actually is pretty cool, too bad turbines are so expensive....they make really cool lightweight powerplants.

You can lease them "Power by the hour"

Some surplus sales you can get them cheap
