How cool is this build? It looks like it came out awesome ...
I am a bit worried he seems to have used nickel coated steel bolts (or stainless) and general nyloc nuts ... and there is far too many threads exposed from the nyloc nuts. With aircraft bolts, there is only supposed to be 2 or 3 threads at the most sticking out of the nyloc ... but his bolts have twice the length of thread of an AC bolt.
I am looking forward to seeing him testing it ... he looks to have done a good job.
I wonder about his rotors with all of the tubes inside?
I have subscribed and will go back and look more in detail at the 70 videos on it's construction. Even tho people with such skill make me sick! (haha)
Kudos to him tho ... nice work!

For all his CNC and welding skill, I couldn't get past his use of hardware store stainless-steel bolts/nuts. It is begging for trouble that bolt threads are present along part shear lines. This is why AN bolts have smooth shanks for whatever clamping thickness desired. And, cadmium plate has the the lowest galvanic coupling (0.05V) with aluminum.
Relying on nyloc nuts instead of castle nuts/cotter pins for flight control parts is just insane.
Finally, his wrenching technique of turning the bolt instead of the nut was painful, as he is egging out the tube holes.
I hope he lives through all that curiously bad attachment protocol....
