.

I recall projects such as what Gabor envisioned by using two props driven by one engine so decided to post this drawing . (source unknown)

Belt drives are already in use , and many re-drive systems already use a belt and separate jackshaft (propshaft) .... this concept only requires one more belt and shaft to drive a second prop.

Engine cooling might be an issue , otherwise it is a simple concept for those who are interested in such things.

I was even considering using a racebike chain which would make reversing direction a lot easier.
I haven't given up on the concept.
I think it is a pretty legit solution.
All I need is a few hundred thousand dollars and retire so I can build the damn thing.
:laughing
But right now....this is what I am building.
The Queen wants a new shed .....she gets a new shed.

I bought some nice hurricane safe doors 35 inch wide each. I got some serious amount of lumber from a friend taking down his hunting tower.
All pressure treated stuff. Probably worth millions now! LOL
So the roof material is taken care of.
I bought all that cinder blocks for 50 bux.
I just had to clear the guys backyard out.
Probably 300 blocks.
I bought the cement mixer for 40 bux because the guy said the motor wasn't working.
The shaft corroded to the housing. All it needed is a little yank to free it and voila.
Cheap bastard I am. Oh and I bought a window for 25 bux Friday.
I am doing it at my own pace.
Not gonna kill myself over a friggin shed.
:beefcake

Well, it's nothing like what you have done with the addition for Barb but on a small scale, I am creating something that will serve for years to come.
Nothing fancy just functional.
Masonry is not exactly brain surgery either so I am quite comfortable doing it myself.
Plus Since I lost 40 lbs my energy level is through the roof and I don't mind physical work at all.
I went on a Vegan lifestyle since my lab test results sucked ass....badly.
Every life-threatening indicator was in red :rofl
So a friend of mine had much success with vegan foods.
OK don't think I am hardcore! I just had bacon egg sandwich from Dunkin donughts for father's day breakfast that my daughter brought.
Anyways. But I can tell the difference with my new eating habits. And yes I cook and bake from scratch.
Using vegetable protein products that mimick the texture and taste of meat.
It's really not a punishment and readily available nowadays.
I am fucking cut!
Going to the gym 3 times a week.
Feeling like fucking 15 years younger.
Lifting like a beast!
:beefcake
