John, I am disappointed that you will not make BD this year, I was looking forward to meeting and getting to know you. You don't have to wait till September, nice get togethers at all the major holidays.

I am already excited that BD is already here!!! I will pick Stan up at the airport tomorrow morning and we will get to Wauchula early afternoon!!!

Yes Gordon, there are a lot of folks I wanted to meet and spend some time with this week... things happen though.

I run a heating and AC business... as soon as it warms up here... it will be pedal to the metal until the end of the summer. We make a significant amount of our $$$ in the summer... Atlanta being an AC market (as opposed to a northern city where the heat season is longer). I probably will loose 20-25# or more before the summer is over... just keeping up.

I hope to get down there after AC season is over... would really enjoy meeting all of you!

Honestly... there is one thing about not going to BD's I feel bad about: I promised Bud O'Neil I would help him at the AirBoss tent and give him a break or two a day. I have a booming radio voice, a natural for that job... and I am sure Bud would enjoy doing something else than sitting there the whole week.
Sorry Bud, maybe next year.

Ya'll have a little extra fun for me!

John/GA

I received my 2014 calender yesterday.....and noticed that the 26th was yesterday, not next Wednesday. I seem to have trouble with time....

Hope you all have a great and safe Bensen Days!

I can't seem to get used to the nakedness of that place with the big oaks gone.

Well, I recognize Steve and I see Elwood's gyro and see lots of folks I've never seen or met.
Sure would be nice to be able to put a face (or handle) with a name.
I would put my face up but there may be small children or large animals that couldn't tolerate the horror.
