OK I jammed some foam between the camera and the mast, big improvement!

.

Love the hay field low level .... and the way the camera is mounted captures it perfect ... and the Yamaha sounds sweet sweet sweet .... not laboring at all .... kinda rare for a gyro.

Amazing (to me) how green your fields are .... ours remain white snow for another 2 months .... what is with the "brown" trees ..... dont the leaves fall off ???? ... up here the leaves all drop off in the fall and come back in the spring.

I know that is a botanical question but I figure you will know the answer haaaa ... I also like the green color of the gyro ... and the Tango looks like a good choice

Arnie, the trees are still dormant have not started to bud yet, they just crop dusted that field a couple weeks ago, all the hay fields are really green with all the rain we have had.

Nice looking gyro Scotty... is that the same green as that 'gyrodeputy' dude had his painted?

What happened to that gyro? Did deputy ever get it finished and flying with the Yamaha?

Deputy had a slightly darker but very bright shade of green .... and very nice .... kinda felt bad for him ... he did a meticulous job on the build but during first flight test they realized the Yamaha & gearbox turned the prop in the OPPOSITE direction to Aviomania's tail design ... instead of counteracting fuselege torque it multiplied it .

He had to remove the 2 horizontal stabs ... reposition them properly .... and then just repainted the repair area black so not as nice as before..

It did fly very well and once testing was done I know he flew it a couple of times himself .... then I think it was put up for sale and everything went quiet ... he quit RWF .... said he didnt like the crap going on there but told about his latest endevour .... provide a police patrol gyro to monitor crime etc.

Started a non-profit to fund it in memory of his murdered brother ..... raised over $500k , bought a 2-place (maybe The Sportcopter 2) (not sure) .... and like I said never heard from him again.
