Well we had another 4 3/4 " of rain in the last 24 hours, and another 2" predicted...... West Texas looks like a great place to live right now! I am serious! Too bad I am not retired!

I just spend a couple of days fixing fences and clearing trees off fence-lines so the pasture would be ok...No worries now...I don't have a pasture anymore. It is a very large pond. I may have to sell the cows and get manatees.

We only got the tail end of it. And we already have manatees ..... I can catch a few for sale.

We had tornados come through here the other day. A friend of mine runs an auto repair shop and one did a number on his shop and all of the local area. No one hurt and he has insurance so alls good. It took down trees in his front and back yards but no damage to his house. Joy, joy. more rain tomorrow!

Tornados can be tricky. We don't have too many here and they usually are the byproduct of the outer rings of hurricanes. I have seen houses absolutely untouched while the next house looked as if a machinegun shot through the walls making them look like bug screens :eek

So far over 8" of rain in Jan, and so far this month 7 1/4" with another 1"-2" for today... Man I should have bought a boat instead of a gyro!!

That Tesla charging station lake picture and an event a friend of mine had with a Tesla have changed my mind about electric cars. He got a $2,000.00 repair bill for water damage from driving through a puddle. It was a fairly big puddle, but still....not quite ready for prime time with electric yet, I think.
