Gotta love those hard working industrious Hungarians .... Anthony and Margareta Markus bought a small farm in The Pas Manitoba Canada in 1962. Anthony had fled Hungary just before the 1956 revolution and ended up in Austria where he met the woman he would end up marrying and then came to Canada He expanded the farm many times including adjacent farms operated by his children. Old school. Hard work and some luck.
The Márkus family sure made their mark in Manitoba! Good for them. That famous 56 migration brought a bunch of useless ones here! The ones before actually wanted to come. After 56 there was a bunch of useless thrill-seekers. Not the most desired by any means. _________________  A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I am dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant! A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense. |

We are however very conscious about our relentless search for new things. Yes, we are everywhere.
