Do any of you have a drawing of any source of the Aircommand. We have a new guy on the forum and he is seeking any info with drawing and such on the Aircommand. Thanks ladies!

Well, I am sure he needs a detailed plan type of drawing. This is what he has right now and it's not really helping him.

I really want to find it in good quality. Unfortunately, the inscriptions on the drawing are not read at all. All these files I have, but it's not exactly what me need. For example, there is no data on the wall thickness of the pipes used and rectangular profiles. The most important thing there is not a single size. But this is understandable - this is the assembly manual. Why do I need it? This device has not given me peace for a long time. I just dream about it. I plan to build it someday.

Hey Marcons, WELCOME! from working on a few air commands, I know that the landing gear tubes and set tubes were around 0.065" or 1.65mm..I think the main tube and the mast were 1/8"(.125") or 3.175mm.
Please give us an update on the ultralight mini-gyro your friend built.

To put it bluntly - from the whole AC family I like the Gary Weaver autogyro. This is my favorite version of the AC. I probably downloaded all the photos and videos of his gyroplane. Is this Gary personal development or is this one of the whale options? Here, on the forum, is Gary present?

Gary has a nice gyro, he did the drop keel mod on it with a dominator tail, He does fly it a lot, Let me know what you want to know specifically and I will try to get the info next time I see him, hopefully soon, He is one of the Cedartown/peachstate guys, they are about 2 hours from me. Gary gets on the peachstate forum but not this one. https://peachstaterotorcraft.org/

Greetings to all! In the design of the AC all the U-brackets are made of steel. If you make them out of a square aluminum profile will it be enough strength?

the u- brackets used to be 7075-T3 aluminum and are available from LEAF, don't know that they ever switched to steel. I think 6061 would not be as strong as the 7075

The only problem with using an extrusion is the stress will be concentrated in the corners.. The "rony" brackets are 7075t-6 and are bent and then heat treated, They are not cheap. LEAF is Leading Edge AirFoils https://www.leadingedgeairfoils.com/https://www.leadingedgeairfoils.com/alu ... dth-2.html
