When you hold a grudge, the only one you are harming is yourself. Takes up real estate in your head, and if your head is anything like mine, I need all the real estate up there I can have!

Well....today was my last employment day. As of Monday, I will be freelancing for the new owner 1099 for now. The new job isn't as sure as I thought and it seems he is a bit undecided..... So that threw me off a little.
Monday I am going to Raydon corporation to test their Helicopter training device.
I might become an expert adviser for them.

I am taking this shit better than I thought..... It will be fine.

Since I lost most of my marbles, I have plenty of storage space in my head :laughing

Having such good grudge holding ability as I have, as well as a long memory... it is fun to watch people squirm years after their grudge worthy act caught the interest of my grudge gland :) They have usually stepped on lots of other toes since mine.... so they have long forgotten... :noidea

Trouble is..... I haven't :ugeek: And I keep lists, in case I do forget :whip :like :yoda2 :Wolvie

I dont do anything too serious tho.... just really infuriating small things in general :like :pop

Edit: I am often forgiving tho... if someone who has shit on me comes up to me and apologises and I believe them, I can forgive..... maybe not forget, but I can move on... :maga

Gab,
I just caught up with this thread, but I know you'll come out of this better than before!

Thank you Mike. Today is my first day of no specific reason to be up this early.....
I'll make the best of it. Or at least intend to do so.
I am just glad I wasn't in Vegas!

Well..... I have registered with the local job recruiter agency and updated my resumé.
Dropped off a few of them at the local print shops.
None of them were hiring at the time.
Did try even the local newspaper company.
I am not panicking just yet but rather keeping my eyes open.
I have never been unemployed soooooo this is kind of weird to me.
My most days off without working was 10 days....and it was a vacation to Europe!
:eek

Gabor.....Isnt there "any" home repair needed in Florida after that hurricane?

I was in the carpenters union for 3 months just to try that out. I let them know up front that the day they ask me to walk a stupid picket line trying to keep a non union guy from feeding his family, I will quit and go home. They never tested me , but I soon left as it was just a bunch of insecure suck ups.

Anyway, you are too clever to not find a good job.

Construction is the last thing anyone ever would go into here in FL. I used to be a supervisor for one of the most prestigious company in town Kargar Construction. I lasted 3 weeks when I walked out because of the dirty treatment of workers by them!
I could not stomach it. Tree workers, roofers, construction are the leading 3 indostries here that WILL FUCK YOU over. No exception.
I'll find something. Right now I am working as an independent contractor for the new guy.
So money is actually being earned..... the rest will come to me when I least expect it.
I will be doing the runaround and hand out resumé thingy and of course talking to people.
Life is grand!
