This is a little video of a walk-around of the Barnstormer's hangar. The end of the video shows all the attending gyros packed into the hangar. Allow LOTS OF time for it to load. This is not on YouTube and is not on a streaming server. It is, however, fairly high resolution. My intent was to host it this way in case people want to grab stills and enlarge them for examination. There are a LOT of cool projects in the hangar. http://www.miservice.biz/BarryDazeMay2017/BarryDazeMay2017.htmlSo...apparently it did happen.

I have an idea, I think that Barry should hire myself and Jake, to build stuff. Does Barry ever work? I mean with all these road trips to pick up aircraft, and all the modifying and working on stuff, makes me tired just thinking about it, since it takes me forever to get anything done.
Nice job, very cool project!!!

One on a farm with no N# and one only occasionally as he divorced and got a new girlfriend. Neither hang out on forums or go to fly-in's so far. Then there is Heath's convertible and very soon Garth's convertible as soon as he gets back from China.

Probably the only one too I remember all of the issues one of our guys had with the Rotec little wing.... the oil scavenge pump to get the oil out of the bottom pistons, fouled plugs, smoky rough start up, having to turn on the scavenge pump and hand turn the prop before start up and 2 or 3 minutes before it is finally running on all cylinders all of the time..... oil dripping out of exhausts and other orrifis when motor not running and so on..... A radial is a very nice 'hats off' to days gone by.... but might be a bit lacking in practicality? Please don't think I am saying it is not good.... it looks beautifully made and presented and it must be fantastic to fly, not to mention it must sound awesome.... Kudos to the owner/builder for a job well done.... it would be a treat to see and hear it fly

This is a brief video extracted from footage taken at the event during a period of "slight" crosswind. As with the previous video, you may need to let it load for a few before viewing. This one is shorter and lower resolution, so it shouldn't be as bad. http://www.miservice.biz/BarryDazeMay2017/TOL-HighWind.html...and yes, I close my eyes for both takeoff and landing. I don't scream as much that way. I like to practice not screaming in case I ever get a passenger. I'm told they don't care for that much.

I just looked at my previous post and even tho I say it is not negative against the machine.... I just want to make sure y'all know what I mean. I love the look of the machine and the workmanship looks spectacular.... I would love to see and hear it ..... it must have bags of torque.... it sure has bags of style.... Maybe rotec have new systems since my friends rotec little wing... what is the procedure to start or restart the motor after having switched off? When you stop the motor, do you have to run the scavenge pump for a few minutes? Do you have to hand wind the prop with the scavenge pump on before starting/restarting? What are the procedures for cold start, hot restart and shutting down? Evidently this little wing is over your side now.... the sound of the thing was awesome to say the least
