I'm ready for that girl

I am HERE, this site is a lot more fun, just been busy, went to El Mirage on Sunday got some good flying on my KB3, now trying to get my KB2 rebuilt. It is going to be something to see. All the aluminum is going to be polished to a mirror and the steel is chrome. I am not sure it is going to be a good idea because if you don't have dark glasses on it is blinding, I might have taken it too far but it is too late now.

I have a lot of pics of the road warrior weekend but I get a internal server problem when I try and post pics, What am I doing wrong

Make sure the pics are not YUGE MB's... resize them if you have too, other than that I don't know anything.

Sam put a dent in his surf board the other day and as he was glassing the repair I suggested he do what you did to your truck and put a band aid on it...though it would look awesome covered with resin I was unable to get him to do it....

Someone else had that problem before. Shit! I can't remember but I think the problem had something to do with the pictures not being RGB they were CMYK
If all fails any of us can post them for you.

I had that problem when the picture did not have (.jpg) at the end...

I may have to rethink the chrome, there is about 20 small pieces of steel and the chrome place said $2,000.00. Maybe it is a California thing but that sounds out of the question. I am going to get a couple other quotes, but damm

That sounds a little too deep for 20 pieces of parts.
I think you ought to ask around. Some of the chopper places have contractors doing it dirt cheap.
Might ask them if they would throw them into the basket they are sending out anyways.

Yes Cali clamped down on the use of hexavalent chrome a long time ago, See if you can send the small parts to a metal finisher out of state, still probably a couple hundred $$ minimum charge.
