The only thing I would worry about climbing out like that is if the rotors come up to flying speed when you are climbing on the prop like that... There is no energy stored in the rotors if an engine would quit....
Don't know, never had that much power, sure climbs like crazy though!
Just in case you didn't know, that is the 150hp 4 cyl...

You know the really sad part?

He considers the current power level "marginally adequate."

I know that Kurt is a retired corporate pilot, but cripes, what did He fly before where He would consider that marginal?????

That sure has some heart :ugeek: :like :pop

It is nice to see someone land a gyro like a gyro should land :like :half

He obviously understands gyros ok, climbing like that is ok.... as long as if the engine stops suddenly, you don't push the stick forward, he will be fine.... if the motor stops, you just have to keep the stick where it is until it stops climbing, it might slide back a little, then you can lower the nose....

My turbo EA81 machine had some grunt and climbed well, but nothing like that .... that is awesome.... impressive :like

I want one!.... as Gary would say :laughing :yoda2 :Wolvie

:Confederate
