I am new to this stuff. Have 2 hours of video using a POV camera recorder while flying the gyro. It came with the gyro BUT I did not get any editing software. Probably would not know what to do with it but want to cut some of the boring stuff out and shorten the clip.
What is the recommended software? Price?  _________________ If things get better with age I must be approaching friggin awesome |

If you have a computer with windows 7 or higher, Windows movie maker is already on there, super simple and it will handle HD video.
If you have windows XP it will not do the HD format. Easy to use and cheap! If you need a more powerful editor on an older machine, i have had good luck with "power director" editor it was about $80. But still simple to use. Some editors you have to be a real computer geek to use them. _________________ It's never too late to be a bad example. You should be able too look up tutorials on you tube.
If you have an Apple computer they have their own software also. _________________ It's never too late to be a bad example. I spent all my money on Bikes, Broads, and Booze, the rest I wasted. |

I use movie maker from windows. It does the job. Sometimes it needs a plugin here and there to be downloaded but other than that it does a very decent job. And it saves a manageable file size too.
 _________________  A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I am dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant! A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense. |
