Excuse me, but I am having a rare "pissed" off moment.
I enjoyed making that "In About 2 Weeks" award for Heath Lowry. I was sitting on that award for a long time just to go along with its theme. I mailed it to Mentone in plenty of time for the awards banquet. It did indeed arrive. Someone majorly dropped the ball and Heath still doesn't have it. I should have sent it directly to him myself. My whole life has shown me you have to depend on yourself...cause that's the only sure way to get something done.

I remember making the prestigious Ficker award with Stan making very reluctantly a beat up cheapo crappy base for it.
I didn't stay behind much with the glues together driller into plexi glass.....
But yes. We had a direct mail between us. Always did.

Someone has it....I am going to make noise until Heath gets it. This is totally unacceptable. Last award I am making. It might take about 2 weeks!

John is going to look into it. I posted on RWF that I am going to see what or what doesn't happen in the next 2 weeks...and I literally mean 2 weeks from TODAY. If Jane has not mailed that award to Heath by then...I know the church she faithfully attends. I will contact her pastor with a kind but stern message for Jane to send a package to Heath. I have further plans if this fails, but I have worked with people all my life and I think the pastor connection will work.

We will at least have some interesting reading either way!

ps: Stan ... I still cherish the Jerusalem Stone you sent me ... I have shown it to many people ... they all think you are a kool guy .

Glad you like the stone. The stuff that happened getting that stone just blew my socks off. You and a few others are the only ones I have told the story. I gave Jim & Lori Bakker one just like yours , but didn't have the opportunity to tell them the whole story off camera, a few weeks ago when I was in Branson.

When I was holding that first baby on the curved stairway, the importance of that stairway that was a fraction of the cost, much simpler, much less time consuming.....but yet superceded the Artwick stairway that the stone was connected to..... made me realize we are not in control sometimes.
I haven't been the same person sense. I lost interest in my helicopter at that time and have enjoyed what has filled its void far more than I am able to say.
I still picture you in my mind...on a cold December evening, on your birthday....getting an urge to go out to your mailbox and find the package sent from me 3 weeks earlier......and how you sat in your chair and reaching inside the box...and somehow knowing what it was!....even through all the mischievous wraps of plastic I had wasted trying to hide what it was.

I could tell a few Jerusalem Stone stories from here.

preamble .... I will be with a group of people and ask them .... "have you ever seen a falling star in the night sky ??" .... most people will say yes ..... then I ask .... "have you ever held one in your hand ?" .... they say no ..... "would you like too , I ask ?" .... then I pull a meteorite out of my pocket and put in in their hand .... Folks love it , especially the kids.

Then I say .... "have you ever touched the streets of Old Jerusalem ?" .... "the place where Jesus and the Apostles walked " ..... would you like too ?" .... then I bring out the Jerusalem paving stone .... and of course now I have to tell them how it landed at my place.

I still say the hand of the miraculous was in that whole thing.
Nobody on the face of this earth knew I had been spending a lot of time on the topic of stones as per Psalm 102:13-14
Nobody on the face of this earth knew my focus on the times of the gentiles as per Luke 21:24
And to have that stone with the Luke inscription on it blew me out of my chair that night it arrived

Arnie- Its a story that I feel helpless trying to tell it as I am not effective a speaker to be convince anyone. ..you and I know the whole story.

By the way....you remember the bald eagle stories?? Well guess what. I haven't been to a Foster reunion since 1974....thats not a typo. Ever since grandma got knocked out by my dads brother drawing back to hit my dad in the jaw
...and hitting grandma on the windup back swing, I vowed to NEVER go to a Foster reunion ever again. I will go to my grave keeping that vow.

However, the Foster reunion is always on the 3rd Sunday of August. I was out push mowing my front yard when something flying directly overhead caught my eye. It was a bald eagle again! Last one I saw flying was the Saturday after my died, then that following Monday giving me a private air show around my stair shop. I have only seen a bald eagle once where I live previously in my whole 60 plus years of life.

But there was a bald eagle right over my house during the Foster reunion I was not attending.

Gabor- I called that number you gave me, and after it rang ...John Rountree answered. That was Janes office number. So...John.has sworn to Jane not to give out her number. I respect that...so anybody out there..knowing her number,.I would appreciate it. I am calling her church to leave word for her.pastor to call me. I will succeed at bending her ear about NOT mailing Heaths award still! Unacceptable! Procrastinating is no excuse.

I just Google's the Baptist church in Mentone, got the church phone number, and left message asking for Janes phone number. If they don't give it out, I will leave another message for the pastor to kindly have Jane mail an important package to Heath Lowry.

Stan do you suppose Jane immigrated to the US from Cyprus?
