Please, I know a lot of you guys are lightyears abead of me when it comes to mechanical stuff and metal and such but I had expressly requested that other than the engine and some guages that nothing be salvaged from her.
The stress of my flying rotors impacting the ground tip first had to put massive amounts of stress on the metal.
I couldnt bear it if anyone ever got hurt because they tried to use a weakend part from my bird.
When I hit , I was trying to pull out of a dive, was doing about 45 mph but just didnt clear the ground.
I watched my rotor disc tear into the ground in front of me.
When my front wheel hit my seat smached down through the keel and the entire nose section and seat skidded along the ground. My rotors spaghettied and tore the tail up.
Also around this time the engine hit the deck and the prop shattered. Hit so hard both of my aluminum rims and tires were flattened.
Yes I walked away, but Im telling you this cause I dont know what you were told.
I cant believe any piece of her was not stressed beyond useful perameters.
Beware...

I cut the mast off with a sawzall, so I could use the folding mast as a pattern if I ever wanted to build one, I got the gauges too.
No worries mate! It will not be used, just wanted to see how it was made.

Dang you were lucky Benry!

Jake, after oblitesating two other probs I came to the conclusion i was better off sticking with the GSC light wood props not carbon fibers...as my mech said, they disintegrate on contact and dont seem to damget the shaft.
Hows that for a recommendation!
You guys know i just want tomake sure no one gets hurt.
