New to the site. Have been flying the first customer built single seat Dominator for many years now. Good that there is a site that is not full of Ron Awad worshipers. My strip is 24 miles from his at Goose creek. When I first met him invited him over and later told him he was not welcome and not to come back.

Welcome to our forum....kinda forum rather.
Yeah there ain't too many fans of him on this site.
Although we have to admit the simple fact that the boy is a natural but that does not cancel out one being an asshole!
Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay.
We don't censor or ban....unless of course someone is deliberately trying to destroy what we have.
And that ain't much.....
We occasionally talk gyros too :rofl
Goose is a nice airport. I like it there.
Sorry you had the Awad treatment.
:sf-fight

I'm doing ok. Thanks for asking. Lost my lifemate of 20 yrs in October. I have some health issues and am under the care of the VA. I was diagnosed at age 5 with Bronchiectasis which is similar to cystic fibrosis. I'm 65 now and slowing down some. I still fly as much as I can. Thanks

Lets see if this works. The first dominator was a two seater which ernies son mike converted into a single seater. My machine was built by david seace and ernie calls it customer built #1 I fly on and off an old dormant volcano. The water in the background is the main blowout of the crater.

I would have to ask david seace when it was built but I think about 20 yrs? It has a fresh majored 503. The engine that was on it I put on a Phantom.

The first Dominator was a 2 seater I assume it had a 532 or 582 Rotax. Mike converted it to a single seater. Ernie's neighbor was David Seace Sr. and David Seace JR. otherwise known as big David and Little David. Little David built this machine when he was a teenager with help from his father, Ernie and others from what he could scrounge out of Ernie's shop. As far as I know Mike is still flying the original Dom with a bigger engine upgrade. I have been flying cessnas, tripacers, J-3 cubs, hangliders, numerous ultralights since 1973. Started flying gyros in 2000.

Had a visit with my dermatologist yesterday. After living and working outside for many years in the florida keys and being an outdoor type of person a trip to the dermatologist can be painful and no fun. Skin cancer is preventable. This hobby can put you at risk. It is the number one most common form of cancer.

Yes it is. We pasty guys in Florida are very much the number one target for it.
I am going to have to see a dermatologist soon. Just to check nothing suspicious yet.
I use 100 SPF
