Stunt pilot dies in plane crash

Some of you that have attended the Wrens fly-in may have seen him buzz the airport.

Sad news indeed. _________________  A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I am dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant! A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense. |

Condolences to the family. Greg was a regular at the Wrens event, a talented pilot and genuine nice guy.
The safety officer for the PDK event should have called it in the afternoon. It was blowing 25K ang gusting to 37K here, and we aren't far away from the event site at all. From what I heard and saw from a friend's phone video, he seemed to have been slammed onto the runway during a stunt by a strong roller gust. _________________ Jon Carleton Private ASEL Instrument Sport Pilot Gyroplane |

The video I saw aired by an Atlanta TV station looked like he lost control at the top of a loop. Whether by design or loss of control at the top he entered a downward spiral that appeared to me to be way too fast of a rate. I wondered did he black out? _________________ ===RayNAiken=== |
