Congrats Desmon !!! .... you have invested yourself heavily in aviation and gyros ... I am talking investments of the heart and passion .... probably cost you a few dollars too .... but dollars can be found anywhere , guys like you dont come by every day ... thanks for openly sharing all your knowledge with us , and your stickler for safety.
I hope your new Airline gig pays you a lot more than you are worth (smile) , and hope you get lots of free time to teach us things we may never have thought of !!!! Love 'ya man , and thanks . PTL

All I can say is thanks guys. This year has been a challenging but good year for me and my family. Airline jobs do not pay well starting out. About food stamp level. However I can still fly and train in gyro. This summer I managed to fly about 100 hrs in gyro in 5 states. Assisted building and correcting 3 builds. Test flown five machines. Then still somehow pulled off finishing my ATP. I should be able to fly and train about 3 or more days per week in gyro. The good news is I just about fly anyplace for free.
My next goal is to get my gyro sold so I can buy a titanium one.

Congratulations. ATP is the doctorate of aviation. That's why I stayed a nurse! All my respect Desmon. I have started my ATP right after my instrument rating but quickly realized I was never going to use it. But I did get a good idea about all the questions that were mostly related to airplanes and not Helicopters. Congratulations. It is a big deal!!!

Why would you want to fly all couped up, point to point, at high altitude? When you have been flying low, open, barnstorming hay fields...
Yeah I know there is always that, gotta eat thing......
Congrats!!
will you be flying for American Eagle?

You know I did not hear to much about the ken Brock fly in. Lots of people might be over there. But thanks for all the kind words. I will be flying for both American and United. I will still be doing plenty of gyro stuff.
