Maybe my timing was off on the market. All indicators showed an overbought position.
Oh well. It would not be the first time that the "feel good" traders artificially keep the market afloat making it surreal at times.
I have seen the freaking thing rise on deadly bad news so this is pretty standard loss day for me
I am sure it will correct itself tomorrow and dip back all the gains that was made on emotions.

It does seem the futures are opening in the red this morning. They dipped 200 into minus over night. The charts are always right.....

Still holding the downward pressure.
If there are more financial companies who need to get out at a decent level it might hold at the current level but as soon as they all dumped their stocks I have a feeling the radical slide will begin.
Let me pull up the chart for 3 months and see what the trend looks like.
Here is the shot for pre market

Both the 2 day and 3 month shows the Bollinger band has narrowed and the resistance has not been violated so looking at the slow and fast stochastic topping out and the MACD moving into neutral this baby is ready to drop another big one. Certainly a down day no question. The amount will be determined by the sheer human factor.
Panic and automated market orders can screw with it big time.
I hate the new way of trading because it is so over reactive and the slide or the rise is not as logical because the automation.
Automatic stops and buys kick in and artificially create a mixed picture even they don't understand
