I am looking at the Bollinger tightening with a downward pressure and that's usually not good.
Fast Stochastic is leveling out midway and so does the Slow. MACD crossing the halfway on high volume so selling has to happen to take profit.
I call BS on the headlines. It is hovering in the 200's for a good while now and adding the fact that it had opened 600 up....this is a freaking losing day so far by 400!!!!!!
Lower highs and lower lows are the indicators of a trend change not a correction.
I am strictly a technical guy and don't do emotions not fundamentals.
I don't care China pumping cash nor upping their interest.
That is a short term infusion.
I am looking at the chart that is telling me what the market is doing.
I am seeing entering BEAR territory.
But again.......I am known to be very very wrong...... :rofl

Gabor- Maybe you could enlighten me on my investment problem.

I mentioned I have been trying to cash out a major investment since June...even if I had to pay a penalty. The firm is transferring my stock to public trade...first time ever....and it will be tied to the NYSE. I can not get ahold of it until the transaction is done..and it may take till Sep 30th.

My question to you is....I am thinking that whatever the stock market is at the moment it is attached to it...then its value goes up and down with the typical market swings at that entry number. ....so in your opinion...lets say the market was half of what it is now...or 8000...might as well use realistic numbers!!....would not I get twice as many shares at an 8000 stock market ...compared to if it was attached today at a16000 market? I will promptly send you a payment for what your answer is worth! Ha

Sounds like my corn and beans I sold. Got $10.12 for my soybeans just a short time aho...now they are $8.85.. Corn was $4.13...now its down to $3.50.

One thing for certain...the world has to eat....the population is growing, and the acres are shrinking.

Sad days will follow happy days, will follow sad days, will follow happy days, will follow sad days etc......otherwise known as the human condition.
And now GDP rose 3.7 percent in the second quarter vs expected 3.2 percent so the market will rise, until it drops....................

PJ...I am just kidding.

Jeff- It's not about saying the market is going to go up or down...like duh! It's about sticking my neck out since the beginning of this year saying we are going to have a major change. Nothing major I have seen at all....yet

This is where our market is. China is now telling our The Fed what to do: "U.S. FEDERAL RESERVE SHOULD DELAY RATE HIKE, COULD PUSH SOME EMERGING MARKETS INTO CRISIS"
Uhhhhhhhh OK. That makes me feel much better and almost warm and fuzzy... :rofl
