Some idiot drove on the runway last night, you would think that someone with half a brain would realize that with about 6 inches of rain in the last few days that the ground was soft. No accident.
I have filed a police report.

I know you don't want to but put up a gate, a camera security system (even a fake one would probably work).
Put up a "No trespassing" sign." Run an ad in the paper that trespassers will be shot and put up a sign with that message. That is legal to do in Georgia.
The ad has to run for a month at least once a year. At least it was that way in Burke County Georgia in 1984.

From that point on if there are violators you would have moving targets to improve your shooting skills.
:kill

I can still fly, just the principle of the whole thing.
I think we have it figured out.

It does make you feel violated. The same thing happened to me after big freaking rain some idiot ran through my front lawn with a truck. It looked about the same. :killbunny

Right, we just had about 3 inches of rain the day before, the ground is just so dang wet and soft..
I did fly Sat afternoon, got mud all over the gyro, but I had a good flight. :)
I need fenders on the wheels, or mudflaps.
