I've helped two people set-up legal 100 plant Pot farms. Found a company that pays above wholesale prices in Colorado and that takes the risk out of selling to who know who a few pounds at a time.

The 1st has been doing it for over two years and is just now paying off is house farm with greenhouses on it.
The 2ns only started but it is a lot of work too but very very profitable and legal in Ca but not with the Fed's but they are not bothering people who only grow 100 plants and have a state license.

I am not holding mt breath here in Georgia, They have been fighting Sunday beer sales for years, I doubt that a pot farm would fare very well here, I would be happy to grow industrial hemp on my 4 acre pasture, but instead I just mow the grass..

Funny thing is that I have used all the mowers and tractor in the last 2 days....Wish I could use the gyro as much.

That 2 stroke Lawnboy brings back some memories. We got one in 1956 (rope start) that was still running
when we sold it in '92. I mowed lawns with it in the summer time for $1.50 per lawn. There were times when I would bog it down and stop if I didn't tip it up. I finally got tired of untying the rope to restart it, so one day I reached down and grabbed the flywheel and spun that sucker as hard as a 13 year old could. The compression was so low, it started right up! After that the rope got very little use. Good times with it.

Man, you just can't beat a perkins diesel for reliablitly and fuel economy. At least we have had good luck with them in tractors and engine driven welders.

My "lawnmower" is a 1958 FarmAll (propane). I like that I don't have to lug cans of gasoline or diesel fuel. All I do is park it out in the drive when I get the tank filled for the house and they fill it too. It starts quick in freezing weather as well, unlike gas and very unlike diesel.

Perkins diesels are tough. I worked in a sawmill for 7 years. There was one hyster fork lift with a Perkins that outlasted three Clark Detroit & three caterpillers.

a friend of mine bought an old clark forklift really cheap (scrap money ) because it had thrown a leg out of bed and punched a big hole in the block..... he just gas axed the bit of rod off so it didn't hit the sides of the block any more (thru the hole)..... got out what bits he could thru the hole with a magnet..... glued a bit of tin plate over the hole.... took the valve gear out of that cylinder so the valves were permanently shut..... and used it apart from running rough and being slow to lift anything or drive, it never missed a beat. The only annoyance was that it always left a trail of drips of jet black oil everywhere it went... so his concrete was 'interesting' .... when the oil light came on, he just added some more oil...(used, out of any cars he had done oil changes on) which was good, because the fork never needed an oil change itself

It looked black, but if you scraped off the gunk, it was actually yellow (of some description) it had no brakes, no gages, couldn't rev much over idle and the seat was an old recliner 'lazyboy' lounge chair screwed on. It weighed about 5 ton and had the solid tires, the steering tires were close together, so looked like a 3 wheeler, had no roof or protection, no back rails for a pallet to lean on, no safety anything and if you dared go off the concrete, even a little bit, it got stuck Oh, and every now and then you would hear a big 'clunk' which was the remains of the dead piston falling on the crank and getting shoved back up to the top of the cylinder.... until it worked its way down again

He had had it for over 10 years when I met him and it was still going strong (but slow) It always started, always sounded the same (terrible) made your butt numb from the vibration.... but it sure beat unloading trucks and stuff by hand

I haven't got a pic of my Kubota B2100.... must take one..... I have sold the ransomes as I couldn't use the cylinder mower on the property (I paid $250 for it, fixed it up a bit and sold it for $3,750) and I swapped the rover ( almost new, that I swapped my shit boat for , for the Vitara/sidekick I drive today
