Bensen Days is on for sure. The City Manager WANTS us there. So despite to a few who did their best to screw this up for the club I am happy to announce that we are a go officially.
I'll be opening up the registration soon.
Count me in for volenteer work.

X2...

Depending on lots of things... hope to come down over the previous weekend and help get it set up... and torn down on Sunday after.

PeachState may (or may not... depending on whether I can get the guys motivated)... rent a trailer onsite to stay in.
Will let you know.

I will open up the sites next week for Sunstate members for the next 2 weeks before I open them for the general public.
Just a perk for being SWARC member.

Tell fj ... to get our M'ship dues PAID to Sunstae ... so we can snag our favorite central campsite .... that was PERFECT last year ... space for Canopy for the gyro ... so we didn't have to wrangle hanger space!
Hoping to have a better trailer & all weather cover for the new one .... so any similar central location may work! ... Time is short ... get a trailer built / modified & gyro shipped Aw'd & flown off ... gonna be a tight order!

:boink : :whip

BD's YAY .... a new era in the TOEVS-TEAM gyro-ventures!!! :Flag :OZ

OK guys I think I have reached my boiling point with the Morons.
Looks like I am going to throw the towel in.
I don't want to spend another minute of my time to fight them.
This is stupid.
I am done.

Now that I know we have an all go for Bensen Days and since I had to stop laying roof due to the dark why don't I spend the rest of the night with designing the logo for the event?????
So here it is. I wanted something clean for this year.

This year I have decided to make the bases out of hickory. This hickory is left over from an amazing person that is making carbon fiber parts for the James Webb space telescope to be launched in 2018.

I thought this may add value to these awards.

Hickory is a really good looking wood! Back in my remodeling days... we did a 'country style' kitchen with hickory cabinets... natural finish. It was an alternative to the 'small bones' English look of the late 1980's... IMO it looked better.

Just a suggestion -

The Head Ficker award should go to the Largest Ficker in attendance, who is partially responsible for getting THE BEST MOFO TANDEM BIRD (RED) to BDays ??

Fick off,
