No I just towed it home last night. I need to go at it today and see what I can do. That will be a major alteration damn it!

That is what I was afraid of...everytime you change one thing, ten other things need to be changed for that one thing to work.

Well for a start the disc is laying inside the rim so I need to bring it to the outside of the rim. Then I need to machine a new axle that is long enough that the new caliper would fit between the bracket and the rim. Then the whole thing won't fit the trailer because now it's too wide.....and than I will cry like a girl...... :cry :cry :cry :cry

Problem with these magnificent flying machines.... they go and get all goofy on us when we have to do the smallest little thing to them...

It is as though they have a soul... they feel it when we alter their lives just a tiny bit... and get even with us by not allowing us to fly...

:cry :cry :cry

Just take the wheels off and send me the calipers and then put the wheels back on,
Seriously I will try to rebuild them better than before!
I have the worlds supply of GOOD (viton, nitrile, buna-N, you name it.) O-rings here at the worlds best airline.

Had a nice relaxing flight. Calidus is very easy to fly and surprisingly spacious. Takes off more stable than the MTO but lands a little faster. Flies hands off. I trimmed it and it took very little effort. Half enclosure is a nice feature!

Nahhhh it was at a international competition. Friend of mine is a para guy and he has the good stuff on his page. I don't know the extent of the damage to the meatball.

Back in Sept, a meatball died in the area of our airport (CedarTown).
There are two jump places in the area; CedarTown airfield, and a place called 'Skydive the Farm', a few miles away. The accident happened at 'the farm'.

Risky business jumping out of an airplane that is in controlled flight; and expected to find its way back to the ground and land, with a competent pilot at the controls.

I was gonna do a 'tandem' jump for a 60 B-day thing... just for fun... decided not to.
Some things are for young folks... :)

If things check out right and it feels right I will fly it of course.
I won't fly outside of the airport yet. I need to stay in the pattern for now.
Testing phase!
