Yeah the fucker needs to be redesigned......I will need help of course. Air stays in the system. What I need to do is take the master cylinder off. Have it pointing upward so the air gets out of the highest point. Push the rod in. And let it out gradually as the pump fills it with fluid. Only then I will have that brake working properly.

I have one, but i have to find it, it is packed away in boxs. if you need me to I can look for it. it's one of those units from harbor freight. I have used them to bleed Bike brake lines in the past.

We use a system similar to that where fluid is pumped through bleeder screw at wheel through system to bleed out of bleeder screw at master cylinder (there is no reservoir). The difficulty is trying to position the mc so that air doesn't get trapped in the cylinder. It takes 2 people and lots, lots, lots, lots of patience. Oh, did I mention that it takes LOTS of PATIENCE, then when you think you're done the brake is still spongy because some bubbles were trapped in the mc.

So i take it my vac pump would not help any then. who the hell designs a system with not reservoir. don't sound s like a great design to me.

Noon. I don't plan on staying much since it's still brutal.

WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????? Busted my master cylinder. Finally got the damn thing air bubble free. Second turn and I was heading towards the hangar because my left break failed again. The pulling to the right has been fixed it rolls very straight now. I have also installed a volt meter/indicator so I know my generator works properly. I will take the master cylinder apart and see what its problem is.....I am about have it with the hegar brakes.

One neat thing for us (though not for you, poor Gabi), is that when you try these different components..... .....we find out what not to buy and what has a good chance of working well for our machines!!
So thank you for continuing to plug away Gabi!
