.

You will never be the same again !!!!!!! HAAAAA !!!

I think you will like the unobstructed view from the cockpit , the heavy rotor system , the not-too-sensitive cyclic , lots of shoulder room

Not to mention it is a natural Gorilla Hauler ... you will feel right at home Gabor !!!!

My Dad lived with me the last few years... died in 2012.

One of the stories he told me: He worked for Bell aircraft in Ft Worth Texas, and was on the team that converted the engine to vertical from horizontal.

Wish he were still around... however he is with Mom in a better place... :)

Nice looking bird, how was the flight?

Weather rolled in so we skipped the flight. Saturday we will try it again. I'll be instructing him in his machine for his commercial.

Good deal!

Ya think he might bring it down to BD 2015 for static display or fly-overs?
I have never had the opportunity to look over a B-47 up close.

Subscribed to thread... :)

WOW... did not realize it was a ground up rebuild. All the more reason I would LOVE to see it up close.

Cool thing for you Gabs... getting to walk someone through the paces of another flying cert... give you some really FUN stick time!

He had just built a huge hangar right next to his house that will house all the toys. Apparently he has a lot of spare parts. I saw the extra frame and tailboom in his garage :) he called it insurance policy......... :laughing :laughing :laughing
But the parts I saw laying around he probably has 2 more complete 47s LOL.

I think that is the nicest one I have seen in a long time.... someone does fantastic work :first

The last nice one I saw was a white one at Caloundra, near me.... it was a Kawasaki Bell 47, quite nice, but that red one takes the cake.... awesome! :yoda2

That 47 is a thing of beauty.

I would love to take the controls of one. I did ride in one at Homer Bells a few years ago.
