Had a nice evening flight.....checked out dads farms which are local and 8 miles away. I can cover all of them with a short flight. Crops are looking superb.

All systems were running fine on the chopper.....still smooth as glass.....and just have to pinch myself still that I am flying it.

Good stuff. It sure is a nice way to check out the neighborhood :)

A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense.

Just curious there...

How much electricity (KW) do those wind turbines make, and what do they pay you to put them on your property?

Back in the day, the cell phone folks paid a pretty penny to put in a tower.

John- I believe each one is 1.5 megawatts. They pay around $6000 a year per windmill to the landowner.

These things are a joke. Its just to benefit the feel good green people. Long term is that in 20 years they will be worn out and no budget to continue them.

Dad does not want it need his $10,000 an acre prime farm land polluted with these windmills. They take valuable farm ground out of production...spray plane pilots hate them.

John- They are 1.5 megawatt turbines. These things are pushed on us by the free people. They are a joke long term and will be sitting idle in 20 years.

They pay around $6000 per year per turbine to the landowner.

Dad does not want or need these turbines polluting his $10,000 plus per acre farm ground. They take valuable farm ground out of production, and create a nuisance to farm around. Spray pilots hate them.

Dad worked very hard for all his farm ground , and the neighbors can have them but he won't.
