I dont know if it is a true story or an urban legend .... but some wise old farmer decided to live trap a fox in his hen house and show the rest of the foxes what would happen if they came around again. So he doused the fox's tail in kerosene and lit it on fire and let it go , thinking the word would spread around and all the other foxes would leave his chickens alone. Trouble is the fox with the burning tail ran through the surrounding ripe crops , set them on fire , and burned down the whole farm |

I walked through the woods one time with my shotgun loaded with pheasant shot and blasted what looked like a grey fox, haven't seen him around anymore. The Fox I've been seeing now is a red fox. I baited him up with some tuna and sat in the deer stand but no go! this red fox "commie fox"
 will come running through the yard at random times. |
