A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I am dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant! A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense.

that must be some seriously thick air, I thought he was aided by a head wind until he did a 180 and was doing the same ground speed! not to mention his engine sounds like its almost at idle. I wonder what density altitude he is flying at?

Flying with ski's and float's would be a really new learning experience compared to wheels. I think I could get lost up there.....would feel a bit safer if I had a plus 100 gallon fuel tank. Thinking all the better if I couldn't get off the water or ice.....

. Norm is about 5 hours from Goose bay Labrador .... back around 1950 - 1960 the USA 22nd Helicopter Squadron had a station there to supply the DEW LINE Radar sites during the cold war
This is what I would want up there.....love this video with full screen:
I have a few hours in those H-21's. I'd replace or repair something on its rotors or some other rotorcraft and the pilots would always seem to feel better if I said "yes" to their question about if I wanted to go along on the test flight.....
