Here in Manitoba we have huge hydro electric dams and export a lot of (cheap) electricity to the USA via the Wisconsin grid

An additional transmission line was to be built on the shortest route east of Lake Manitoba .... see the blue route in attached picture

The no fly zone that was enacted needs to be penetrated by pilots on a daily basis, its not OK for the Gov't to arbitrarily decide they have air superiority. They are also flying helos with questionable N numbers in the area. Found it on another pilots forum.
