It is really interesting to analyse how stupid we can be in flight without having any intention to take risks ... or to brake an important flying rule
we have all been warned of this kind of hazard ... (waiting 3 minutes before landing after a jet plane or heli) .. it is in books ..
trouble is that this hazard when in the pattern is totally Intangible, invisible .. is not like the hazard of an engine failure, or the hazard of a crowded pattern ...
It is a bit like forgetting to increase airspeed approach in a windy day ... the risk of wind velocity gradient ... I mean increasing approach airspeed is not a reaction of the pilot in front of an obvious situation .. the pilot can't see the wind velocity decrease from his eyes ... it is an intangible hazard
