Unless they are receiving federal funds or using a Federal service the FAA has no jurisdiction on private property -
Pvt property class G airspace to Pvt property you're good to go....
If you have a wreck on private property with the owners machine not for hire - No one will visit you.....
[Logging Helicopters on private property doing company business, they look the other way]
The FAA is more interested in complexity points [retirement ] and protecting the nonparticipating public.
They hate paperwork more then you do.
I know of a certain Cessna with no numbers a motorcycle seat for the pilot that cruises out of a corner of a field once in a blue moon, It's been seen around other places and has never been ramp checked in 40 years.....
