well I am done with the 1st part of the tree fiasco....
As it turns out none of the other neighbors in the fly in community give a crap about the runway, So...Mama and I are paying for the tree removal, to improve the airstrip and protect our property value, as well as protecting the safety of other pilots...

Hi Scott - thank you for helping me with the propeller.

How long and wide is your airstrip?

I have only 260 meters - enough for a gyro and a short-fiels UL plane.
And maybe 40 - 50 meters useful width.

Cheers
Erik

Sorry about all the problems with the prop shipping, but glad we got it worked out.
Eric the runway is 100 ft wide by 2200 ft long, now with the trees gone it will actually be usable runway,
it never bothered me with the gyro, but real airplanes are a different story.

Um..."Real Airplanes?"

So, gyroplanes are imaginary?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to argue. It is only if that's true, the tax folks owe me a bunch of money back.

Ha Ha, Yes Jon I meant "real airplanes" as you know, ones with "different" flight envelopes from gyros.
If I land my airplane the same as the gyro, I.E. diving over the trees and then flaring, I balloon up and float and use up even more runway, the gyro I could dive over the trees and land right in front of the hangar, but you already knew that. :laughing
