Trump has made the economy so good that I barely have time to work on my gyro project!!! We are getting orders from customers that we have not heard from in years. Customers and suppliers in manufacturing all over the country are telling me the same thing.
I think I may have gotten ahead of the big rush and will finally be able to get some work done on the gyro this week'
Below are some jobs that we sent out last week. One is a extrusion die for PVC pipe and the control panel is something that we have built 3 of in the past few weeks. it is touch screen operated and controls metering 3 products into a mixing system

Trump has made some brilliant moves .... reducing business taxes from 39% to around 20% .... off shore American capitol has been pouring back in . Trump has done many more great things but he is starting to blunder with the 25% tariffs on import steel and aluminum. It will harm America much more than help ..... smelting aluminum requires huge electrical power , which we have lots of in Quebec ,
USA absolutely cannot produce it cheaper .... so it will cost the manufactures much more .... every Boeing , jet , and all aluminum products will skyrocket in cost.
More about that later .... keep in mind that (as allies) Canada set up those huge Quebec refineries at the start of WW11 in order to supply huge amounts of aluminum ..... so when Trump says the tariffs are a national security issue , he is mistaken.
That aside I still think Trump is the best thing to happen to the world in a long time. He is just embattled on too many fronts and not realizing things that will not work to his advantage.

Well when CNN has favorable things to say about Trump it must be so outstanding that it is impossible to spin it in a bad direction.
BTW If I understand correctly the 25% tariff is for steel only and only 10% on aluminum.
If nothing else he has made it plain to see that he is not kidding around when he says he is going to level the playing field. This may send a clear message to Mexico that he is serious. Mexico seems to need a bit of help with their comprehension.
I feel the need to add that Canada has been giving us the very short end of the stick for FAR to long. Now maybe the Canadian government knows that Trump is doing more than just talking a big game.
We will see. Now that Trump has made a point he may eventually reduce the new tariffs for concessions in other areas.

USA benefits 20 to 1 with Canada (we import 20 items from USA for every 1 item USA imports from Canada.
Canada exports crude oil to USA at $20 a barrel lower than the world price ps: it is American oil companies who drill for oil here , we do not charge them any royalties ..... we benefit because we get the clean american dollars for the crude oil. Then we send those same dollars back to the USA to buy our cars , trucks , F35 jets
Trump is correct about one thing .... Canada DOES have a 270% tarrif against American Dairy products. Because we have a "controlled" quota system which provides just the right anount of milk supplied by just the right amount of dairy farms.
Not as efficient as open market but years ago we would have huge milk surpluses for a while , it went sour , then everyone quit dairy farming and we had shortages ..... now it works pretty good. Just Wisconsin alone produces more milk than all of Canada and could supply us all we need. But would they deliver the milk thousands of miles to Nova Scotia ? I doubt it.
There are automobile components that cross the borders 17 times to manufacture GM cars here in Canada & usa .... no tarrifs on it , if Trump puts on tarrifs it seizes up the manufacturing and creates a huge tax bureaucracy ...... its these things Trump is getting bad advice on.

So when Trump says let's do away with all the tariffs why didn't Trudeau reply "great fucking idea Don!"???? He ain't much of a negotiator nor is he a leader type. What separates the men from the boys that they dare to make decisions on the fly. I wish you guys had a prime minister who had balls. That guy's sure has not yet dropped.... We ought to be the same folks. Why have ANY tariffs? Do away with them. I am not seeing why that idea could not be embraced. There is no tariffs between brothers and sisters .... sooooo....????

That's an insecure bitch right there If it wasn't for his idiotic father he wouldn't be anywhere near being a prime minister. On his own, he would have achieved nothing more than being a door to door pretty boy vacuum cleaner salesman.

I love Canada. I know a few great people from there. Arnie, Norman and a wanna be porn star named Cherry Steele !! They are a country of strippers and pole dancers. You can buy narcotics over the counter. The hunting and fishing is awesome. They also have some of the worlds greatest military sharpshooters. Trudeau is a Canadian Obama, it will be over soon. Unless the Muslims take over, since they have more rights than the Canadian Citizens.

The world mocked Trump for wanting to build a wall at the Mexican border ...... now I see France is building a wall around the Eiffel Tower ..... AHEM !!! https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-44502949
Even some democrats are appreciating TRUMP policies and leadership , even fake news CNN has been giving some favorable presidential type interviews.
If he can keep going TRUMP could end up fixing a lot of things in this world . INCLUDING CANADA ..... HAAAAA .... we absolutely love the way our liberals are getting slapped around. We may suffer a bit in the trade war stuff but it will be worth it in the end
Makes me want to move to North Dakota and vote in the mid-term elections. hehe

Trump Hotels got it's start in Canada. true story.
Friedrich Trump (Donald's grandfather) was a barber by trade , immigrated to New York in 1885 , found some work , then went west to Seattle , found some work , then opened a small restaurant , then heard about a gold strike in Bennett British Columbia Canada and decided to move there to join the gold rush.
Made a smart decision to open a hotel in Canada , the miners would bring him gold to pay for meals , rooms , baths , and "ladies of the night" . It was very successful but the gold ran out and the town began to die.
Friedrich heard about another gold strike in Yukon Canada , dismantled the hotel and floated it north on a raft all the way to Yukon. Tremendous success , Trump only served the finest fresh Caribou meat (all the other hotels sold rancid horsemeat and old pack mules) , provided good service , and lots of "ladies of the night" for the hard working miners.
Canada had laws against operating brothels , police asked Trump to stop and he complied. Trump then sold the hotel , and along with his earnings he had amassed $500,000 which was a huuge amount of money in the early 1900's .
Friedrich then headed back to Germany with the cash , got married , had a son Fred Trump (Donalds father) , then came back to New York built and invested in real estate ,, but sadly the elder trump died early in the influenza epidemic.
Son Fred continued with lots of solid real estate developments , and when young Donald was of age he branched out on his own and did all his Manhattan deals and created the Trump empire we have today.
Trivia nobody asked for , but I told you anyway. So when Canadians like what President Trump is doing .... remember .... we saw him first .... haaaaaa
Most "rich" Yukon gold miners blew their money and came home broke , Trump was one of the few careful ones who hung on to their earnings , another was Albert Pantages who brought his wealth from the Yukon and started The Pantages Theater Network , the first theater was built here in Winnipeg and is preserved as a historical site.

Just a quick update (I am going to eat some of my words haaaa )
I made the point earlier that Trump was making a mistake by applying tariffs on Canada steel and aluminum .... we supply it at low cost and import finished goods at a higher cost and the USA benefits (as do we)
However ..... I now find out it is the Chinese who bring their steel to Canada (and Mexico) and then sneak it to the USA through NAFTA.
In other words Trump is way ahead of us all and correct in what he is doing.
