I had an awesome day ... before Bensen Days started ... to get REALLY BUSY! I took 3 .5 days to drive (the scenic route through Tulsa OK, S into TX, E to LA,MS ( northern I 20 route ... dropping to I10 at Biloxi) ...I20 is totally CRAP through Shreveport ... SUCH a relief to hit I10 & FL ) ... fun to see the back roads( nice state highways ... but stopping in towns SUCKS!) ... but I came home on I 75, I 10 & I 35 ... agreeing with Jim's philosophy that even through the MEGA-metro's ( Houston,Dallas, OK city) ...properly timed ... the traffic flows SO much better & less stop/start through the little podunk towns! I had 2 full weeks camped at Wauchula & was reluctant to leave ... only Bill Holzgrove & BudONeil left camped when I pulled out last Thursday ... 2days to Anahuac .. visit on a dreary drizzly Sat (last week) with the club members hanging out ... then got through Houston-Dallas & OKCity on the light-er Sunday traffic! The Wauchula & Bensen days crowd ...are SO totally awesome ... just felt SO loved & adored ! ... the other ladies ... had Birthday celebrations for Jake & I... cakes& candles & great meals in Joe's hangar kitchen ... the best B'day for many years! Each easy-going pre-party days treasured & enjoyed the fellowships getting to know the fellow early birds a lot better... the Event got really busy & went (as usual) TOO FAST! ... Although most had gone by Monday ... to Sun 'n Fun ... the unwinding days were lovely too! Gab's swung by ... but I was so dang busy doing the demo flights ... had just too brief Hi/ Bye HUGS & greets ... no time to visit!     Even Norm was super busy & did not get to visit much with him this time! _________________  |

Well, I did get my hugs and that's always nice to get!
I just know that one of these days you are going to come to FL without the busy schedule and we can hang out at my house with the usual suspects. Fire up the firepit and tell lies sitting around the campfire. As you know there are always hangars available if you fly in. I too wish we had more time but at least I've got to see you and was happy to see how happy it made you taking people up and spread the joy of flying! You truly are a magnificent person.
