It needs some sharpening but that's pretty much it's usefulness is now after the slight alteration.
I would consider fixing it but the impact separated the fretboard and split the neck in two spots.
Maple is a tough wood to brake and I hate to even think what the saddle (glued in) part took and how warped the fretboard got.
That neck will never be straight. :cry

Thats a shame Nabs.... but with the neck broken that bad, but the foam box appears to be undamaged?

Just from looking at the pics and assuming that is the foam it came in...

I think the broken guitar was placed into the foam protection... :badluck

or, it is not an impact crack? (wood drying out/bad grain) :badluck

To break the guitars neck like that from an impact would have totally shattered the foam?

Sad that the guitar is busted tho.... I just cant help thinking it was busted before the USPS got a hold of it.... :noidea :wol2 :Wolvie

I would be asking the seller if the guitar was undamaged BEFORE he put it in the foam? :calmdown

There is an indentation at the lower part. Unfortunately, the gap where the block ended under the neck acted as scissors.
If the dumbasses flipped the guitar and had the fretboard facing the flat foam......
But no! The back of the neck that's round was against the damn flat surface.
Damn it....
