My cousin started harvesting on one of our farms today. It still blows my mind thus GPS steered combine. You can see some of the monitors showing its 35 foot cut swath...going at a precise angle across the field.

That looks like a monster. How technology advanced in such short period of time.....
I wonder how many men's job one of these things can do with ease?
Scary. Special talents are going to be still needed but laborers are going out of business.
Wow.... that thing is super high-tech!!!
The last thing one associates farming with is high-tech....but it's here!

A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense.

Gabor...Data is recorded for every square yard of each field in each farm. The fertilizer applicator reads the yield outputs and applies more where the yields went down and slacks off on the higher areas.
Efficiency is mandatory to survive farming. Its slowly being more and more controlled by Monsanto and government regulations. .but still is about the most freedom one can have. ....
.except for curved stair building.

More action shots. This always makes the queen happy when our home gets buried in dust! That's the back of our home about to get buried.
