I was out hunting this morning for about an hour. Didn't see or hear one squirrel. I had to get back to my stair shop which is in my my woods. As I was walking slowly back, my friend Greg texted me, and my phone chime went off. This squirrel started barking immediately at me way up in a tree. I put my trusty ol Feinwerkbau .22 on him and he dropped like a rock.

I sent Greg a text with the THANK YOU note on the squirrel. He was a nice size one.

Like KFC but without the biscuits. gravy on the taters and that fancy red and white bucket!

I have a question for the parents...

if their son was working in the restaurant and a thug came in and pointed a gun at their son... would they expect their son to hand over some money to the robber then get shot? Or, if he were carrying, would they expect him to shooot the robber?

How many Pizza delivery people have been shot and killed on delivery?

If i were a restaurant owner in a state where carrying weapons for self defence is legal, I would only employ people with a CC or OC license and carry accordingly... and I would have a sign on the door saying "if you come into this store with the intentions of robbing it, one of my 5 armed employees WILL shoot you"

So, as is the general consensus, if the thug had lived he would have done some time in Joliet... at tax payers expense.... then he could have got out and done it again...

Second....dont know if yoh hunt rabits, but out west if you carry a whistle i. Your lips or are good at whistling, a shrill whistle will stop a running rabbit in midstride!
I have been told they think its a hawk so they stop moving....makes em easier to shoot.
