Just bought a Condor Golok machete from Condor knives out of El Salvador.
What a beast!
Quality is incredible for 60 bucks!!!

Yes thats it Arnie.
The quality is off the charts compared to the price.
It is just a tad heavy for light jungle brush, but for saplings and brush hogging it is perfect.
65 dollars delivered. Oh and the sheath is really nice too.

We aren't allowed to buy a machete in Aus..... a 'cane knife' is like a half sized machete... we are allowed those....

but we cant be trusted with a genuine machete evidently :noidea :dizzy

But you can go to the supermarket and buy meat cleavers or carving knifes of all sizes, or a hardware or car place and buy tire irons, crow bars, pry bars, screw drivers, wood saws of all sizes and types.... you can go to camping shops and buy tent pegs, hunting and fishing knifes, spear guns and so on.... but you cant buy a machete... too dangerous :noidea :laughing
