As much as I would love a warmer climate, we are gonna get some cooling in the south, with mashed taters fallin from the sky. snow is such a rare event down here southerners love it. :)

Yep all the schools from Chatanooga to Macon are closed, and then all the idiots ran to the stores to buy all the bread, milk and beer.

We are caught in the same weather system

You know it is bad when Canada shuts down schools and highways ..... they have reopened today ..... temps have been around -28 for a week .... a couple of blizzards .... I looked in my backyard and there is a snow drift at least 8 feet high .... I was going to take a picture but my back door would not open .... a pile of snow against it .... will try tomorrow.

Hey Gordon,

Has there been any serious damage to the citrus crops down there? I really like my Florida OJ and grapefruits...

THX

No damage here. We are not having any of that arctic vortex thingy here. By the weekend we will be in the upper 80's

During BD's... I may go find the boss of an Orange orchard... and ask if I can get a box fresh from the farm.

Nothing like fresh orange!!!! I have my own and love the damn thing. Sweet as can be and a little freeze actually makes them even better. No hard freeze though just some light overnight freeze.

When I am down there... do you know where to find a road-side fresh-fruit stand... May bring a bushel back for myself and friends.

The dark colors are the cold areas many of us are experiencing lately .... the area I circled in red is Florida .... where of course the sun always shines on Gabor .... :) :) :)

This only happens in my area every 3-4 years... the last time was Jan of 2011...
This is my home.... you can just make out the green van at the bottom of the driveway. It is not coming up for service calls until the driveway is thawed out. The car in the front of the 2nd pic is my little Subaru wagon... been running no heat calls in it... when folks with vans cannot get to their customers... LOVE being a small entreupreneur... especially when I steal someone's customer because of their lack of customer service.... grin!

Now lets see what mischief Gabor comes up with, with these pictures... grin

Hmmm...

Seems any time I try to post multiple pics from the cell... the second one turns upsidedown...

Anyone want to fix it... :)
