That's all been put on hold. I have had a major family crisis. Got a divorce. Been through a terrible time at the bottom of a bottle. Dad passed away suddenly from cancer. Lost my job. Got a new one. Still dealing with the ex wife.....blah blah blah.

I have just climbed out of the darkness over the last several months. Started eating right. Been hitting the gym. Eased up on the drinking. I have a new woman in my life. She keeps me sane.

I have not flown in nearly two years. I'm getting my finances back in order. Hopefully I'll be back at it soon.

Cynthia, my lovely girlfriend, bought me a quad copter. It's satisfying my itch to fly right now!!!

Well shit does happen Jeb and you took it like a real man.
By numbing it with booze! :boink
I am glad you got your shit together though.
I'd hate to see you hitting below the all time low.
Sorry about your Dad.
Are you still into the welding??????
Keep coming back and at least read on that keeps your blood pumping :wol2

Hey Jeb ...WELCOME BACK ...sure sad to hear of all the :badluck lows/woes that derailed your happiness in the past couple of years.

Sure glad you found a new sweetie to keep you focused on the happy side of life & motivation to be better! :first

I was worried that seeing the tragedy with Steve W ... pretty much pushed you away from .. the crazy rotorcraft world ... at least until your kiddos were grown! ... very understandable to put family security /responsibility above your own fun! :half

...anyway glad you came here to check-in with the fun/crazy rotorcraft crowd ... now things are looking up! :wol

That happened at about the same time my wife left. She made me feel really bad about that day. Even worse when I went to the funeral. She left shortly after that.

Anyway. Enough gloom and doom. I don't want to drag anyone down with all this. It's over and in the past.

I know this isn't an RC forum but I'll post pics of my new quad soon. I had to replace motors.

This is a neat little hobby. I'll get back into the real air soon.

I do need to stop by the club and say hi.

We love RCs. This is not a.... anything of anything kind of forum as a matter of fact.
It is more of an adult sandbox .... how do I know? I found Muz taking a dump in the corner the other day.
:fickyou MUZ :laughing

Oh, you mean denise fisters? He is like herpes.... once it is there, you cant get rid of it :badluck :laughing

Unfortunately your welding is too good for here.... :killme

To be a successful wolverine.... your welding needs to look like chewing gum, or like a dog had diarea along the weld... like the rest of us :laughing

So, if you forget all the stuff you know, just practice welding with your eyes closed, you should be right :like :laughing :yoda2 :Wolvie

A ballistic chute and have a crack :like I would for sure... there is no reason it should fail (the technology) I mean look at what drones can do?....

The worst thing would be an engine failure on takeoff or landing.... with a ballistic chute, the flying should be no issue?

Looks awesome :like :yoda2 :Wolvie

(and you can trim hedges with it as well)
