Darren don't be a fool!
Look at the riveted blades and the old style head.
I know you have a new head but still.
It's a 503!
That 5 grand is about what it's worth.
Minus the road trip!

I used to drive for a Bekins moving company and can get it packed and brought to me for 3 bills ($300) and if he goes for that deal minus
the shipping and packing I will get it. I have all of the misc. parts already and can easily get the missing stuff.

I have a 503, (2)532's so upgrades are done easy enough. Who cares obout the rivets...it's a great transition gyro for me to fly
and learn before I fly my 20K Wolverine first.

It's all good from my point of fool!! :laughing

It will be like having a dirt bike and a sport bike. Life is Grand as u say!

That is one hell of a good buy! Someone should grab it quick!
There is nothing wrong with that rotor head for a single seat gyro, or even a light weight two seater.
The best handling rotor blades I ever owned was a set Bensen riveted blades. Easy to start, responsive, agile and very precise landing!
They were not quite as "efficient" as some of the slicker blades, but one would be hard-pressed to quantify how much.
To argue about the efficiency of gyro rotor blades is about like arguing about the weight of a tombstone!

You keep your bridge, that's a deal right there.
I've flown several 503 Dominators and they fly just fine...unless you're a doughnut-stuffed Hungaroonian!

I am not in the 41. 503 would probably crap out under my butterfly weight in a week here in FL :)
Air cooled ones don't do that well.
Although Joe Pires flew his Dom with a 503 for a good while before getting his Rotax Rick mod 582 on it.
And he is in the 250 region.

Nothing wrong with those blades, just the older Dragon wings, same blades just Ernie used to put rivets in the trailing edge.

I flew Joes 503 dominator, and Trell's 503 dominator, they fly just fine, unless you are a, well you know,
a donut stuffed.....anyhow,

Hope it works out for you!

Gabs, you're as wrong as two boys in a closet!
I flew my 503 here in Yuma for 8 years every week!
The 503 does great in the hot weather. It did so well when I finally bought a blue head 582 I never installed it and yeah Im kinda pudgy at 215 and my gyro wasnt all that light.
