I have never met an Eastern bloc refugee who was not a patriot.
They have a sense of appreciation this country has given to them.
In some cases they see things better than homegrown ones due to their life experiences.
They usually lived what others only read about.
We also have a very strong sense of BS meter of all the "victim" class.
We know victims. Usually spent some measurable time in a refugee camp with them.
