So technically we are "capping" with clean dirt from the bottom of the delta all of the slough and trenches running through the salt marshes because they have high levels of heavy metals like copper and arsenic.
These marshes are protected wetlands and the Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse resides there.
Apparently, the Mouse Unions petitioned the US Govt to take care of theyre marsh homes and the govt figures, we cant save anybody in Syria, so lets save these mice.
