I can just see the runway incursion report now "Upon departure, several wolverines had infested the strip and exposed their buttocks to us"
  "One appeared to be a 'well hung-arian' who I believe has an award winning joystick?" I may have to retract my statement that the gyro pilots at Wrens were the most well-behaved and safety oriented of the airmen. Clearly, that is a hazard to navigation if ever I saw one.
I wonder what the NOTAM for that would be like.... NOTAM -- Wrens, GA (65J): 20150918-20150920 Daylight hours. Multiple moons visible along runway 11-29. Pilots should use caution and avoid looking directly at the moons to avoid: a) turning into stone; and b) loss of of aircraft control resulting from uncontrollable fits of laughter. They sparrowhawk on the front image of that video (above) is the first gyroplane I ever flew. Rick Abercrombie was my instructor. Interestingly enough, Rick flew his Luscombe to the Wrens 2015 event and I had not seen him since back in 2004 in that gyroplane.
The machine belonged to Randy Stiles, though he sold it. I haven't seen the machine since Bensen Days (2005, I think). I know Randy sold it. It hasn't been to Wrens in recent memory (and was not at Wrens 2015). _________________ Jon Carleton Private ASEL Instrument Sport Pilot Gyroplane |

I agree Wayne's M22 is sweet . One of the cleanest aircraft I have ever seen ! Fit and Finish is awesome . Built in 2011 and still
