I have heard many people talking good about Rotax Rick, I am having him do a ceramic water pump seal on my old 582 gray head.

Anyone here have any dealings with him, good or bad?

I have heard good things and bad things.
Applying grain of salt system in either direction.
Guys who complain are the ones who actually pull engines apart and have the Gotcha moment.
Guys who praise him the ones who don't wanna pull them apart.
I can't really decide on him myself let alone give an honest opinion.

Both Mark and Trell had their engines worked on by Rotax Rick. Trell had his crankshaft "straightened." While I don't agree with the practice, I can't deny that he's put a ton on hours on it since the work was done. Mark had some issues with some of the bolts and fiddly bits not being the same as the ones he sent down, but I don't remember all the details. I believe it was resolved...eventually.

Thanks Jake! That was kind of the impression I got too.
