Hotel near Bensen Days 2016

Just looked online where we stayed 2015 for about $90 a night.
$180.00 per night. Same Wednesday to Sunday. Same rooms etc. That's about $500 more than last year. Any chance of some local club members checking out why? Guess it's free enterprise at its best. Fully booked means full price as posted on the back of the room door. |

WOW Talking about empty Best Western for the period of time. I am not booking a room for 200 bux a night for sure. That is fucking ridiculous. Just to sleep there? Tom, I have been renting a camper for the last 1/2 dozen years, the guy brings it out and sets it up, and then hauls it off, it is usually about $90 a night, plus a little extra for the drop off etc,

I found a nice fish camp with cottages around a lake (w/kitchen) for $75/night over in Avon Park last year. Clean, no-smoking rooms. Good bed. That's really no further than the Best Western. There were several motels over there that were reasonable. Some of the choices, however, were not what I would call acceptable. Other's were OK to pretty-good. The prices were a good indication of expectations. Once it dropped below $60.00/night, it got creepy.
The biggest problem I had at the fish camp was that I had to use every washcloth and towel in the place to cover up all the LED lights on the TV, Cable, Alarm Clock, Microwave, Oven, Air Conditioner (and on and on). You could read a book by all the light from the LEDs with the table and ceiling lamps all turned off.
