The interior and seat designs sure look roomy and comfortable

High speed flight (Concorde) shortened the trip but was only for the wealthy .... these latest luxury liners have probably come to the conclusion that making it real comfortable for the masses and flying subsonic is the route to go

Those planes have everything , even have rest areas for the crew , its like a city with wings.

Nope, I am off work this week with grandkids, I hate to see Delta buying airbus......

Airbus's are cycle limited, after so many takeoffs and landings they are worn out, done, kaput, Boeings, you just keep replacing the parts that need it and keep on flying.

Is that because of the carbon fiber type parts?

Probably, I just don't like airbus, too much computer control and not enough pilot over ride, plus they screw you on parts and tooling, Boeing gives us great support, airbus does not like us working on our own aircraft.
